Common Questions
Backlit signs have the light source behind a face panel. Frontlit (channel letter) signs have LEDs inside letter bodies, illuminating the front face of each letter.
Frontlit channel letters look more premium for large letterforms. Backlit boxes are better for logo panels, photography, and complex graphic signs.
For retail, 6500K (cool white) for maximum brightness. For premium brands, 3000K–4000K for a sophisticated warm glow.
